Robert Stack

Robert Stack is an experienced litigation lawyer. He has appeared in each level of court in Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Trial Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

His areas of practice include:

• Securities litigation and securities regulation,including his role as a public member of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization;

• Employment law and employment litigation, where he acts on behalf of both employees and employers;

• Corporate litigation;

• Fraud litigation and investor recovery;

• Defence of regulatory charges.

• He often provides general counsel to smaller organizations that need help with commercial, employment and regulatory matters.

Community & Professional Involvement

Robert served as Chair of the Civil Litigation Subsection of the CBA for Southern Alberta. He has been a board member for Heritage Soccer. He has coached both youth soccer and hockey and volunteered with Beavers and Cub Scouts. With his wife and son Nicolas, Robert enjoys skiing, golf, running, hiking and travel.
